The Technical Committee has published preventive maintenance manuals/logs for both the RA and 527 envelope folding machines. Each manual serves as a reminder and schedule book for specific actions to take and gives each company the flexibility to schedule them. It also provides spaces to record comments and the time an action is completed, effectively acting as a log book for your preventive maintenance program. Guide to Envelopes and Automated Mailing Equipment
Published in two parts, this package is designed to prevent problems when manufacturing envelopes for insertion or extraction by automated equipment. Part I is a brochure an envelope manufacturer can give to his customers which describes the basics of envelope construction. Part II is a newly updated CD-ROM based program. This guide provides a directory of companies that manufacture envelope-inserting equipment. In addition, the user may view company contact information, and may even connect directly to a company's web site.
