Envelope Specific Simulator
The EMA Specific Simulator replicates press conditions or problems that have been constructed for training by allowing operators to identify and correct the situation without the waste of actual materials and printing press downtime. As with real life, if they get the wrong cause, the situation will get worse. A series of 3 self-training workbooks have been developed as a self-introduction to the simulator, supported by 90 preset exercises, for users to find, identify, and solve the problem, and in doing so develop experience. This experience can then be taken back to pre-press, sales, customer support, and the production environment to enhance productivity, improve quality, and reduce waste.

Selling Value Seminar
This seminar has been developed to provide sales and customer service teams with the skills to address current workday issues with fewer misunderstandings between the customer and production; and the tools to begin developing their own plan for differentiating their company’s products and services. The seminar is appropriate for anyone working in sales and customer service as well as persons in management positions who are involved in promoting customer relationships.

Preventive Maintenance Manuals
The Technical Committee has published preventive maintenance manuals/logs for both the RA and 527 envelope folding machines. Each manual serves as a reminder and schedule book for specific actions to take and gives each company the flexibility to schedule them. It also provides spaces to record comments and the time an action is completed, effectively acting as a log book for your preventive maintenance program. The company can begin to use the manual at any time of the year, simply recording the date of each week. Buy one for each machine in your plant.
